Over the past few weeks we have had some races take place. Here are some updates:
Sylvan Lake Half Ironman
This was a Ironman prep race for all who raced.
Brian C finished a solid day with a 5:36 finish
Brian R finished in 5: 57 with 2 flat tires (good to have this over with before Ironman)
Mario finished in 6:16 and now feels more ready to tackle the full Ironman
Husband and wife team of Corrine and Murray finished in 6:36 and 7:21.
Great racing team. One of these days I will make my way up to Sylvan and test the waters. 🙂
Heart of the Rockies Triathlon
In preparation for the apple triathlon we saw Louise in a time of 2:35 oly finish 2nd in her age group and 7th female and Janine getting back into racing after a very busy summer with 3:28 oly finish.
On the sprint side of things we saw Anthony finish in 10th overall and Suzanne placing 4th in her age group. Next race for Anthony is IM Mt Tremblant and Suzanne is racing the Nelson Tri.
Long Distance World Championships in Vitoria-Gasteiz Spain
Raf competed in his 1st ever Long course worlds and finished in 47 place. Congrats Raf! Competing at an event like that is always an amazing experience and I hope you are soaking it up. 🙂
In the next few weeks we have the following races coming up:
Lake Chaparral sprint and Olympic, Apple Tri sprint and Olympic and Ironman Canada.
Good luck with your last few weeks of workouts and I wish you all the best of luck in your races.
