Yesterday Ken took part in “Kathy’s Run for Pancreatic Cancer 10 Km”. Leading up to the race was not the best training conditions as Ken was sick the week before. When athletes get sick I always encourage them to rest and take their workouts much easier (or skip) so that they have enough time to recover. Ken reduced his training and only exercised when he felt good and as a result he recovered pretty quick and was able to PB at his race. He finished in a time of 44:59. Ken is already looking forward to going faster in his next race! 🙂
